Kristina Tkach’s Long-Awaited Victory: Kristina Tkach, entering as the #1 seed, finally captured her first title of the season at the Iron City Billiard Invitational IV after finishing second in three consecutive tournaments. Tkach maintained her composure and skill throughout the tournament, culminating in an undefeated streak. In a crucial hot seat match, she bested Margarita Fefilova 8-6, securing her spot in the finals where she continued her dominance to win the championship with a 10-6 victory, earning $7,500.

Margarita Fefilova Styer’s Valiant Effort: Margarita Fefilova exhibited exceptional skill, reaching the hot seat match undefeated. After her initial setback against Tkach, she faced Allison Fisher in the one-loss side finals, overcoming Fisher to earn a rematch in the championship round. Although Fefilova fell to Tkach in the finals, her impressive performance throughout the event earned her the runner-up position and a $5,500 prize.

Allison Fisher MBE’s Strong Run: Veteran player Allison Fisher showcased her enduring competitive spirit by advancing deep into the tournament. Despite an early defeat to Tkach, Fisher battled through the one-loss side to reach the one-loss side finals, where she was narrowly defeated by Fefilova, securing a third-place finish and $4,000.

April Larson displayed great form throughout the tournament, securing a fourth-place finish with her strong play, earning $2,800.

Kaylee McIntosh and Kristina Zlateva both had commendable performances, tying for 5th-6th place with each earning $2,200 for their efforts.
